Why Membership?
Pony Church exists to help people become disciples of Jesus. We want to reach this objective in the context of a biblically functioning community where we have authentic relationships. Membership is an important next step in the life of a believer. It allows us to fully commit to loving a particular body of believers through aligning ourselves with the vision and standards of that church. You should desire to become a member of a local church because:
You are designed for community.
Your faith is not about you, but about others.
You need to be shepherded.
It is a reflection of the gospel - just as Christ committed himself to loving and serving a people, so can we commit to loving and serving a people.
Becoming a member at Pony Church will help you grow as a disciple of Jesus as you commit wholeheartedly to being an active participant in our community. It is an act of discipleship and a milestone in your spiritual journey. This act of dedication and commitment will also be affirming for you in your own faith.
